Heather
Hi, Everyone: As many of you know, the final two days of the 2010 Finals will be broadcast live over the Internet, free to all. We've hired a really good production company to do the camera work and broadcast, and we're confident that it's going to be a professional job. Now we'd like to get as many people as possible to watch, so we can educate the public about our dogs and build up some numbers that might interest a multi-year sponsor in the future. Attached to this post is a poster. We'd like as many of you as possible to print out a copy or two (it looks great in color, but black and white will work in a pinch) and put them up in places where people potentially interested in working dogs and sheep might go. (For instance, I plan to put one in my vet's office and another on the bulletin board in my feed store). Printing and displaying the posters is a relatively painless way to help support the Finals, but if enough people do it, it might really help us down the road as we try to make this new venture a success. Thanks in advance! webcast_poster.pdf

Thanks in advance! I have printed out some and will hang them up. Is there a link to this poster that does not require signing in to the Boards (I check FB and the Finals website but I may just have overlooked it)? Would like to distribute via email as well. Thanks, B. I just signed in and did a "save as" to save the pdf to my hard disk. This way I can email it to dog-lovers who aren't BC Board members. I'll be sure to post some of these as soon as I return to Maryland - Baltimore is only a little more than an hour and a half away, I think (I'll be staying with my SIL who lives closer. With luck it'll attract some spectators. I probably won't be able to attend both days that weekend, so I'm thrilled that I'll be able to experience it via the Web broadcast. Also I just saw via Facebook Robin posted the link to the webpage and info on the webcast: http://nationalsheepdogfinals.com/webcast/ B.
Heather
Just to clarify, if you live near the Finals (VA, MD, PA), we'd love it if you could put up posters to help attract *spectators* (we want those, too!), and I'm attaching another version of the poster attached to this thread for that purpose (it gives ticket prices and directions to Belle Grove). If you *don't* live near the Finals, we'd love it if you'd put up posters about the web cast. Seeing the Finals live is obviously the most complete and exciting experience, but for those who can't do that, we want to make sure they know that the web cast is available. Thanks, everyone! finals_poster_for_spectators.pdf
