Maralynn
I started watching this series yesterday and it the clearest/most concise explanation I've ever heard (in layman's terms) of marker/clicker training. This man trains protection sport dogs at a high level and has a dog trainers school. He also explains the need for a dog to learn to deal with pressure (correction) from the trainer and how to introduce that. The lecture is broken down into 10-15 minute segments and I've only watched half of them so far, but I've been very impressed with them. Maralynn
He is very well known and respected in the GSD community! I can certainly understand why! I finished up the videos today. A lot of good information forming a communication system that you can use to train just about any dog. Not a lot on working sheep dogs but his way of explaining the need for the dog to learn how to respond to pressure in a correct way sounded a bit familiar.
