NorthfieldNick
I have expired bottles of 50% Dextrose (unopened), 23% Calium Gluconate (unopened), and injectable vitamin E-300 (opened). I'd like to empty the bottles & recycle them, but what's the safest way to dispose of the contents? Or should I just throw the whole bottle away? Thanks. kajarrel
The dextrose is just sugar and, I assume, could be discarded down the drain (someone who works at a fishery could probably tell you better). The Cacluim Gloconate I probably wouldn't put down the drain but don't see any reason why it couldn't be composted. I'd almost be tempted to squirt the e on my dog's/sheeps' food a little bit at at time, if it wasn't significantly outdated. Keep in mind, I'm no expert . . . I'd be interested to know what the experts think. Kim
kajarrel
Oops, I just looked at the MSDS sheet and, apparently, you're not supposed to let Calcium Gluconate gel get into the soil . . . Kim
