flyer
Well, I took the plunge and got a second pup four weeks ago. Colt is just over a yr. and is my best buddy. I was a little worried about not being able to love another dog as much, but I remember feeling that way when I was about to have child number two and that certainly worked out. So I have Colt who is my emotional gentleman and little Bea who is a firecracker. The first couple of weeks all I did was compare. She didn't toilet train as fast as Colt, she is soooo assertive, yada, yada, yada and then I got over it and accepted her for who she is. Of course it helped that she settled into the family by then as well and calmed down considerably. She is really the sweetest, cutest pup. I love her boldness. She is training up really nicely. Learns a lot from Colt. Kind of wild how that works. I have always had a dog, but only one at a time. I love having the two. They are so sweet together. Cuddle, sleep and play. I still take my alone time with Colt and I am starting to take a bit of alone time with Bea. Personally I recommend two!!
