KrisK
I'm going to echo what everyone else has said. You need your dogs as much as they need you. They will keep you going This is not exactly the same, but I work with seniors, many who no longer have much mobility. It is amazing to see the change in them when the therapy dogs arrive. Their faces are transformed and they will throw balls, and become far more mobile. Keep your dogs....they will be your therapy, lifeline and most of all will love you just for who you are

Ruth n the BC3 After leaving an abusive relationship with only the clothes on my back and my BC, Evvie, I too experienced severe depression and anxiety, as well as post-traumatic-stress disorder. Evvie was literally the only thing that gave me a reason to not just curl up and die. She had effects from the abuse also and I knew that she probably wouldn't make it if I didn't. We were already so close, but now we are inseperable after going through something like that. She definitely played a big part in my healing.
