Correct placement behind when lifting sheep off a fence

Ben - Take it from someone who is constantly screwing up her dog but timing is everything! Well, most of everything because, if the timing's not right, your correction can't be right.

 

What I have to do is see that the mistake is about to begin (or the dog is just beginning to think the thought that will result in the mistake) and correct it calmly and fairly then and there, and not when the dog is too far gone to make the correction useful and a teaching moment.

 

Now that I have that idea firmly in my mind, I need to implement it in real time...
