sea4th
Here's the link to the original thread: http://www.bordercollie.org/boards/index.p...=25890&st=0 She had appealed AKC's denial to the board of BCSA who unanimously voted to recommend ILP'g both dogs. (Only one was pictured here). Here's the kicker --- although AKC denied her ILP priviliges for the 2 dogs, claiming both dogs were not purebred, they did automatically enroll both dogs in their mixed breed program and issued my friend mixed breed certificates on both dogs. She knew nothing about this until she received two certificates in the mail that her dogs are now enrolled and able to participate in mixed breed events. She was livid. She returned the certificates along with a letter telliing them to remove her dogs from the program. WTF!
MrRipley
UGH! Crazy. And AKC can put that mixed breed program you-know-where!
Root Beer
And some folks are celebrating the fact that there will finally be a division (the mixed breed division) "without Border Collies"!!! LOLOLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLOLOL!!!!! I'd be willing to wager, there are going to be quite a few Border Collies in the "mixed breed" division. Yet another way to force people to AKC register
MicheleS.
I was thinking this was going to happen when the AKC decided to add a mixed breed division.
