Valhalla Posted September 16, 2009 Report Share Posted September 16, 2009 Attention Open handlers running at Edgeworth, Lexington and WaterCress trials: We will be having a team competition at all three of these trials to raise money for the 2010 VA Finals. How this works is that each handler who wants to participate pays a $15 entry fee (in addition to your trial entry fee) and your name is put into a hat. A team of two handlers is drawn randomly out of the hat (you can not pick your team mate) and each handler's score from their Open run is added together. The team with the highest combined score wins 25% of the pot and the rest of the pot goes to the Finals. Handlers with two dogs running must designate what dog's score will be used, or better yet, you can enter two dogs and be on two teams!
