bcnewe2
I signed up for a doggy massage class tomorrow at the local college. I had planned on taking Mick since he's in such rough shape but the introduction letter says if your dog's not dog friendly they aren't welcome. Dog friendly is not how I'd describe Mick so.... The oldy goldy JazzyMay gets to go! She knows somethings up cause I've been brushing her and trimming toe hairs. Tonight she had a bath, now she even smells good! She really didn't smell bad, just old. I keep telling her what we're doing and all she says is...."Want some icecream??" so guess on the way home we'll stop at the icecream store and make her day perfect! I'll let you know how it goes! bcnewe2
I do to but guess I wanted to see if I was doing it right. Even though the dogs have never complained. It was a nice class and did lots of networking for holistic vets and such. Jazz was in seventh heaven. The class was only an hour and a half. At some point they took a potty break, Jazz said she's just lay right here on her mat till they all got back. She really did enjoy the special attention away from home. As she's not the travel dog usually. The teacher was well educated but not really much common since. She was amazed at Jazz's health at her ripe old age. When I commented on that I thought is was due to raw feeding she was all for getting together and learning how/what I feed. She has an old girl who is not doing good and won't eat kibble. She went so far as calling Science diet manufacturer to see why there dog food was better/different. They told her that they change the molecular structure of the beef that they put in the food. I asked what they meant, reminding her that cooking changes the m.s. of anything. She was quite surprised to hear that. She'll be calling for tips on raw feeding. I also met a great human PT person, who's looking to offer dog classes in her clinic. She also is going to call me. So all in all, it was a great time and Jazz says YEAH for doggie massage class!
