Sam is HOME!!!

Recommended Posts

Just to let everyone know that I got a call from an animal hospital that's about 15 miles away from us. They had Sam since Tuesday. I didn't go that far with posting fliers as I had heard that they go to a different place if picked up.

Now at least I know where to call if he goes missing again.

He's healthy, happy, clean and double vacinated for everything. Guess it's a small price to pay for his safe return. He's grown, he weighs 47lbs. so I was pretty close!

The animal control guy gave me a warning and told me not to worry about it as it was SOP and he understood why Sam was loose.

YEAHHHHH SAM IS HOME!

Thanks for all the good mojo and cross posting. I spent the day on the computer posting him to everywhere I could find. Now I have to remember where and repost that he's found.

YIPPEEEEE!!

I've decided to put collars on them and take my chances. They are the center O ring type and I've got them on loose. Let's hope nothing happens with that. I will chip them soon but it was a rather expensive day so I had to wait!

Holy shiznit, that just made my day!!! My week!!! I'm so glad. His little (?) face in the photo was killing me! I'm SO glad and happy that he's back. Did they say what happened? Was he picked up as a "stray"?

You should look around for a microchip clinic. You can usually get it done for way less at one of those, than what a vet would charge.

Yep...I'm looking to get both of them chipped.

The report that they had was unreadable. So they weren't sure how he got there but that he was turned in as a stray. The animal control officer was great, now he'll remember us. Plus he was the one that trapped all the cats that were here before I moved here so he knew right where we lived.

I'm so happy that I think I'm getting a headache! I'm going to go play guard dog games that's all the reward I need.

It was cute to see Lilly come out from the sheep shed and there was her brother. It looked like she had to look twice. like she wasn't sure it was him. She slowly came out and as she got closer she got all wiggily. Sam was like, what's the deal...I was on vacation! THe clinic is the same place I took Mick with his spond. issues so we were already in the computer. THey all loved Sam. THey leash broke him, washed him. loved him and walked him 2x's per day. They were also very happy to see him go home!

HE's HUGE...I'll take some more pictures when I go out there, You'll freak at his growth! I sure am!

Mick sorta looked disapointed that I got him back...tough beans Mick...he's here to stay!

Thanks Again...

YIPPEE YIPPEE....happy dance happy dance think I'll have a drink after dinner to celebrate. Any takers? Say 6pm mountain time? I'll be toasting to all my friends out in cyber space for sending all the MOJO...geesh...it sure works miracles! Then another drink for Sam! That'll do me in but it'll be the nicest evening we've had since Sat!

Glad he's home, but I'll be dour and add a word of warning. Once they wander they will try it again. He'd spend at least a few days chained up if he were mine, and some close supervision after that. You don't want him teaching his sister this stuff or heaven forbid, losing them both.
