Laurie S.
I've been very interested in agility training for Cheyenne and just got a good recommendation for a woman near my house. We're going to start with private lessons to get her up to speed on obedience before she joins the agility class. She does know sit, down, and stay, and we're working on "off." Her recall is very good, too. The first lesson is this Wednesday. I'm hoping that she also may help me with Cheyenne's truck problem. Laurie S.
Will do. Also, she walked better tonight on the leash. I used the clicker and did a lot of stopping when she pulled. She also got treats when she was good. I'll keep working on it.
desertranger
Very cool Laurie. Get him through intermediate obedience if you can and get his K9 citizen certificate.

Laurie S.
We had a great first agility lesson tonight. Cheyenne did so well, I believe she's a natural. Within 30 minutes, she had learned how to run a 10-foot-long tunnel, maintain a contact at the bottom of a ramp, and go forward on command. It was fun, and good exercise for both of us, although she gets treats during the lesson and I don't. I went ahead and registered her with USDAA and realized how hard it is getting a b/c to stand still long enough to get a height measurement.
