Tiga's_mom
So Tiga's favorite toy ever since he was a puppy has been something that I got in a box of vector cereal. I don't know where to find another and so I'm looking for the closest alternative. I even called the number on the vector box in hopes that they might know what I was talking about. I didn't tell them why because I figured they'd think I was crazy. lol. It was a blue hand held pilates ball that you could put water or sand in and use it to work out with. It had a plug that I threw away and I just put kibble and other treats in it for him. There was a lip around the hole so it made it more difficult for stuff to fall out of. He has other treat balls, but he always goes for this one. If you give him a choice, it's always this one. I haven't thrown it away yet because it's not completely destroyed, but there a big hole in it (I wasn't home when it happened or I would have put it away like I always do when other dogs come over) so anything that I put in it pretty much falls out right away. He's had it for almost 5 years! It was about the size of a large grapefruit, maybe about 5 inches in diameter and made of soft plastic. I can tell he misses it and I want to get him something similar. Any suggestions?
Jumpin Boots
No suggestions, but we completely empathize. Boots had this stuffed monkey for over three years that he loved. Towards the end it was just a paw, arm and tail and he would still carry it around and sleep with it; his adopted younger brother finished it off one day. I haven't been able to find anything that he has enjoys quite as much.
Tiga's_mom
Sam's mom is saving the day!!!!!! She has a red one that is the same (maybe even 2!!!) and said she would send it to us!!! Thank you soooo much!!!! I'm so glad I posted this. Tiga is going to be so happy. :D
Ms.DaisyDuke
Good to know someone can help you out! I'm just shocked you had a toy for 5 years! I wish!
Tiga's_mom
Tiga doesn't really destroy his toys anymore, but then he's only really interested in the ones that food comes out of and he would never dream of destroying them. He will barly even pick them up. He bats them around with his nose and paws but will pick it up to move it if he thinks someone else might want it or is in his way. lol. BCDreamer
Hoooray you've found some others - and I sympathize with you. Psyche has a stuffed eyore (sp)that she came here with, that she LOVES, and it's slowly falling apart. I've been looking in toy stores with no luck finding another yet. Tiga's_mom
I hope you find another. I'm so happy that Tiga is getting a new one. I think he knows now that the blue one is destroyed. It's been sitting in the bedroom for a few days with minimal movement. lol. He'll be so ecstatic! I'll be taking/posting a video when it arrives.
