BNM1980
Blake is 48 cm at the withers and 9 1/2 months old. His father was and is quite a big boy, at 55 cm at the withers. His mother was much smaller. I wonder how big Blake will be when he's fully grown, and how long it will take him to get there. From what I've read, it takes 12 months for a dog to reach its full height, and they continue to fill out during the second year. Is that right? I'm not sure how much he weighs because our scale is broken. What about your dogs?

OurBoys
JJ-6 yrs old, 23" & 56# Jake-3 yrs old, 21" & 42# Josie-13 mos, 19" & 34# back in Oct. She hasn't gotten any taller since but her body is changing. I wouldn't say she's filling out; it's more like shaping up. My little girl is starting to develop a tucked in waist. Because she's 1/2 Aussie, I wasn't sure if she would have a tucked in waist.

She was 26 pounds two months ago when she was dropped at the animal shelter. Her previous owner starved her.

He's extremely boney, but I expect him to put on a few pounds as he fills out in the next year. Grady sounds like Quinn at that age. He hovered at 37-38 for the longest time. Breaking 40 took a lot of time and effort due to some health issues. Just turning 4 in June, he's now 21 inches and a fit 42 lbs.
