blaze_is_on_fire
I just took her in not long ago, but am realizing that I dont have as much time as i thought i did to spend with her.. I am glad i got her out of the bad situation, but I think finding her a home with someone who can give her the attention she deserves. She is doing ok on her house training, but she chewed through the bathroom door, and hubby is having a fit. she is a sweet dog, but we have 2 other dogs, and we dont have enough attention to go around. I love Blaze, but i know what is best for her is a loving home in which she gets the attention she deserves... I live in Ripley, MS, and really dont know anyone who whould be able to take her. If anyone knows anyone or can help in any way, i would appreciate it so very much.. Thanks
BustopherJones
You are the only one who can decide whether re-homing your Border Collie is the right thing to do. If you need assistance in finding a home, perhaps Suzi Phelps can help; she is located in Blue Mountain, Mississippi. Suzi Phelps
Shetlander
You might want to check in the rescue section to see if someone can help you out with a listing or suggestions of who might be able to take her. In the meantime, do you have a crate where you can keep her safely (her own and your belongings) when she is unsupervised? I believe you said you had a Border Collie before, so you know that they don't tend to do well without structure, training, exercise and attention. Blase is 4 or 5 months old? If you really feel you do not have enough time to give her everything she needs, then finding another home would be best for both you and her. blaze_is_on_fire
Thanks, I am working on getting a schedule together, so that someone is doing something with blaze most of the time, yes i have a crate, she is doing well with the crate training, I really do want to keep her, but if it comes to the point where i definetly know she isnt getting enough attention then i will check into re homing her. Thanks again so much for the help..
