Tiga's_mom
So for the past couple of summers when we're out in the yard, Tiga often nibbles at things in the driveway. It's kind of hard to explain, but he nibbles with his front teeth like there's something stuck that he's trying to get. I haven't been able to figure it out. Well I finally got it. Dead worms! After it rains, especially at night, they all come out onto the driveway. Then the sun comes up and they all dry up and die. Well, I guess they're very, very tasty. LOL! diane allen
Yep. I just "puppy-sat" a young border collie and a young Aussie for a day - they both snarfed up some dried worms. Yech.... diane
Soda-pop
Oh, my LT loves "worm fries". When she was a puppy she would walk with her mouth open, like a plow, just shoveling them in her face. She'd only eat the crispy ones, too--not the juicy ones. She's stopped now, but man, it used to just gross me out!
RaisingRiver
Aero LOVES LOVES LOVES eating the dead dried-up worms on the concrete driveway & porch. Ever since he discovered them as a wee pup, all of a year ago They don't seem to do anything to him, so I let him clean up if he wants
Tiga's_mom
Yeah it's only the dried up ones with Tiga too. Like I said, I had no idea what he was doing for the longest time and for some reason the other day it just clicked. I let him do it too. Doesn't seem to bother him. He really loves them and they're so small you can barely see them. Kind of gross, but hey.
