juliepoudrier
Still nothing listed on the BG site. Am I going to have to stay up till 11 or later to find out who won? Although we probably already know who won.... Has no one talked to someone who was there and can let enquiring minds know? J.
NRhodes
Alasdair and Star won, he was also second with Nap. They'll probably be getting the results posted soon. The photos I took can be found here: http://stockdogjournal.smugmug.com/gallery...48_reXb4#P-1-20 I still have four or five hundred more pictures to upload. Hopefully I'll get them up within the next few days. Note that most of these are unedited straight from the camera and could probably use some color correction and cropping. Rebecca, Irena Farm
Yay Christine and Tweed! We're proud of ya! Sam hopes his daddy warned those sheep that Samwise the Brave Hearted is coming soon! Congrats to everyone and safe travels to all.
Valhalla
It was a great trial, as usual! The course was tough, the sheep were tough (50% DQ or RT's in the first go and 30% in the second go). I also want to thank all the volunteers... it couldn't be the superb trial it is without all of them! Thanks Becca! I was very proud of Tweed to make it to the Top 20, even though he stuck his paws in his ears and said "la la la la la la la la... I'm not listening!". Daddy Rook also was a good boy and still showed that big heart of his at 10 1/2 years old! Had stupid me not mis-judged the cross drive panels on Saturday, he would have made it in as well. I let the old man down! And Robin and Billy need to be commended as well! She is in "Billy" love and should be quite proud of her boy! WooHoo! Rebecca, Irena Farm
I love that Billy too! Good work, Rook - whup your mom with a wet noodle (hee, says the person with the biggest case of "panel-itis" EVAH - my poor dogs).
Pippin's person
Thanks for the mention Julie--we had a great time. It was our first "traveling" trial. More than running the dogs, I found scribing on both fields phenomenal. It was great to meet folks and see some excellent runs, great handling and truly inspiring dogs. One of the highlights for me was watching Robin F. and Billy do a silent gather for the P-N run-off the first day.
