HCBell
It was on yesterday. I have never seen the show. I did watch to see what the hoopla was about. I did not see anything helpful He just basically said, you have to be boss/dominent
jenfitzh20
Saw bits and pieces. HCBell wrote: "I did not see anything helpful.... He just basically said, you have to be boss/dominent." Yup, his mantra is "stay calm and assertive". For some this is a VERY helpful insight! Jennifer
MrsPalmer
I didn't watch it. I had planned on it but forgot.

MrsPalmer
I thought it was truely funny when they did a parady of him in a South Park episode, it was way too funny. If you like that sort of comedy.

Maybe the Oprah Spot was just a big old commercial for his show and he covers it there. Possible, I have never seen it and won't since we do not have cable. LOL no time for it, I have a border ccollie mix and two kiddos.
karrie
Didn't see it. I do good to watch my CSI Vegas once a week. Kids and hubby have the tv the rest of the time. I see less computer time for me on the horizon with the kids soon. Thankfully Sam is always there for me.
RaisingRiver
I didn't see the Oprah show with him, but I have watched his shows on cable. So that was what my comment was about. Perhaps it's too bad he only covered being a 'pack leader' on Oprah.
Jack & Co.
I was watching it, but I was interrupted by a phone call. Cesar was helping Nate with his problem dogs. One was an incessant barker and the other one was the terror of the neighborhood. I didn't realize that Oprah had added 3 golden retrievers to her pack of Cockers. They are a year old now. Joe Anne
I watched, it was on 1/2 of the show. He did show Nate examples of how to be "pack leader", by standing in front of the dog when the door bell rang, walking down the street, mostly just having a calm manner and "acting", in charge. It was short, but like someone else said, it was more for people just like Nate, who really love their dogs and just want everyone to be their friend. Like a lot of people parents, you can be a parent and still be a friend (when the kids become adults!!!)
