Jumpin Boots Posted February 25, 2009 Report Posted February 25, 2009 So I was just out working Renoir and we were having some fun playing tug and fetch at the end of the workout. The neighbors have a very large, un-neutered pitbull who tends to come over and mark our territory. He always shows interest when we are in the yard, I think mainly he is just lonely and bored, he spends most of his time tied up. Anyway, he gets within about 15 feet before I realize he is there and quickly stop the game of tug. I say to Renoir 'Let's go in' like always. In the past when the Pithas beent here he has always hid behind us or one of the other dogs...well not today. He tore after the poor pitbull, who quickly turned and ran as fast as he could back to his house. By the time they were across the drive Renoir was on top of him, grabbing at his hind end. Luckily the Pitt chose flight and not fight and kept on going. I've never seen Renoir trot back looking so mature and proud. I think he's actually going up... Quote
