Albion Urdank
This afternoon, about 4:30 CA time, I heard a report on National Public Radio of a sheepdog trial taking place in Vermont. Warren Mick was featured (he ran his dog, Glenn), and was interviewed. Nice publicity for the sport, I thought. Albion,
juliepoudrier
Thanks for posting that Albion--I heard it and meant to post something myself but had folks coming over to work dogs and forgot. The reporter really seemed to get it right, and it was a nice little piece. My favorite part was when the reporter said, "Glenn finally takes one of Warren's stop whistles." J. Sue R
I couldn't think of a much better person to interview than Warren. I'm sorry I missed that. Thank you for mentioning it.

Sue R
Thank you! That was a treat and also a great improvement over NPR's interviewing of Jon Katz as a self-proclaimed expert on all things dog and Border Collies and sheep in particular. MickeyDogs
Was that Warren's wife Maria describing the run and did I hear David Clark's voice? Gotta love NPR! Thanks for posting this.
Bill Fosher
It sure sounded like Maria.
