AK dog doc Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 But.... does poop contain DNA??? The cells lining the gut replace themselves every three to five days. Those cells aren't going to Mexico on vacation. They slough in the stool. I'd expect that the stool surface would have the highest concentration, since the cells sloughing from the surface of the colon would probably be there. Quote
juliepoudrier Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 Hey, it's one way of creating jobs. I wouldn't want to have to be the poop DNA sampler, though--that would get old after a while. J. Quote
Tranquilis Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 I wouldn't want to have to be the poop DNA sampler, though--that would get old after a while. Robots. Definately robots - Robot butler poop-scoopers. A whole new industry could be built for this, creating many new jobs! Quote
