sweet_ceana
Yesterday we closed on the "Frisbee House (it has a long back yard designed for maximum BC fun)," and we began to move our stuff from the apartment to the new house. Being the dorks that we are, Chris, I, and the dogs slept on the floor. This morning when we let the dogs out back to have their first morning potty in their new yard, Ceana , who has had a yard when we lived in CO knew exactly what to do. Poke would not go. Chris quickly discovered the problem, Poke needed to wear his leash to potty. Don't you just love when they follow directions better than you taught them! Ms.DaisyDuke
Awww. That's cute. Hopefully he gets over it! Congratulations on the house BTW!
Samantha J
hehe, clever boy, I am sure he will soon get used to his new garden and not having to wear his leash in it. Congrats on the new home!
vanillalove
It's amazing what these guys pick up on without us knowing.

JohnLloydJones
Congrats on the house. Hmm, long "BC friendly" back yard? I feel a bit jealous. Then on the other hand, I remember how much effort our little patch requires, and I guess I'll stick with what I have. I think Poke's behaviour is funny; Senneca hardly ever poops in our back yard -- she does it on our morning walk and evening dog park visit. Once they learn a routine, they do like to stick to it. With time, he'll adjust to the new house, I'm sure.
border_collie_crazy
lol that reminds me of my friends Poodle, her poodle pup was born in the winter, and while potty training him, what happened was that the pup corolated the snow itself with the acceptable potty areas..they had a heck of a time when all the snow melted! WyoBC
That's a good boy Poke! He sure is polite and waits for his leash so he knows it's ok. It always makes me laugh when they do something so smart like that.
