Nope. Just a Dremel. Works great on the dog's nails and furniture :rolleyes: You can still hurt a dog by taking too much off, so don't listen to the adds. I don't think the dogs like or dislike it any more or less than standard nail clippers, but I like the smooth edges it leaves.

How noisy is it? And is there a special head to use for trimming the dog's nails? Thanks!

 

It makes a high pitched buzzing noise. One of my dogs who was noise phobic didn't mind it. I turned it on and off a few times without doing anything to get them used to it. I also turned it on and touched the battery end to their feet to show them that the vibration was not going to hurt them. Overall it went over well. Just use common sense when first using it and put it on the slower setting until you get comfortable.

 

There is no special tool, just use the fine grain sanding drums and make sure you don't take off too much or touch their skin.
