DixiesDad
After a night of diahrea and vomitting I took Little Bit straight to the vet this morning. We had found bits of stringy plastic in his discharges where he had chewed up the plastic zipper on his bed. Stool samples had blood in it as did the vomit. Nothing showed up on blooid work or xrays. The vet recommended exploratory surgery for a possible blockage if he didn't improve by tomorrow morning. So I headed home to think this over. Here is where the good bad news comes in. Scout was sick with the same syptoms and there was no way he could have chewed on Little Bit's bed. We rushed Scout to the vet and they were able to determine he was suffering from coccidia. They are treating both boys overnight and I should be able to bring them home tomorrow. I know there has been a great demand on Mojo recently but if you got any to spare I'd appreciate it for Little Bit and Scout.

DixiesDad
UPDATE Scout is back home with us. Seems to be fine but not his usual active self. He is on Primor for the next 10 days. Little Bit is still at the vet on IV. We got to visit him when we picked up Scout. Seems to be better but they wanted to keep him till Monday. He didn't want to leave us and it was hard to leave him.
