powerfulgazelle
We're back from spending the day in Lexington. What a treat to get to watch some very fine dogs (and their humans!) work. When we left, Alasdair MacRae/Nap were leading, but there were about a half dozen left to run. Everyone was so kind and welcoming...and it was a gorgeous day. (We have the sunburn to remember it by! ) My son had a good time...and managed to start getting a couple different pitches out of the plastic shepherd's whistle he got on the drive home. Although I am awash in envy at those who have cameras with good, long lenses right now, I'll post a couple pics when I have them off the camera. Kip had a nice time too, though had to retreat to the car because of some reactivity...nothing too bad, but I did not want him to get so tuned up that he'd bark his head off while the dogs were working since we were sitting quite by the fence.
