1sheepdoggal
Phew! Been waiting to hear. Great news Julie. What a relief, as I saw your concern for the sweet old gal. My best wishes for her in the future.

Samantha J
Awww, she is a beauty Julie. I am glad that is was good news. Sorry it was cancerous but hopefully it won't make any difference to her life now she has had the surgery. Good wishes for a speedy recovery from that infection and to many more healthy years with her.

juliepoudrier
Thanks everyone. I guess this is one of the disadvantages of having several older dogs (nearly 11, nearly 12 and 13)--they start having all the things that come with old age. I have to say they Willow's incision is now looking pretty good after being on antibiotics. I'm hoping I can keep her healthy now! J. ShoresDog
That's about as good as the news could be, so whoooeee. I hope she continues to enjoy herself jumping into creeks and so forth, with no recurrences.
diane allen
"Clean margins" are such good words to hear, if you must hear them at all. I'm so glad for you and Willow. I too have two 12 yr olds - it's so hard. But as you say, hopefully "old age" will be the final prognosis. Best of luck! diane
