RaisingRiver
That's the people I got River from 2 years ago (same phone number). It's a BYB.
RaisingRiver
Just got an email from them... same mom & dad that River was from as well.
juliepoudrier
Well, either they've bred these two so many times as to have the ability to predict the pups will be great with kids or they have a crystal ball. Or maybe they just mean that in their opinion, border collies in general are great with kids. I hope local rescue is ready for the Christmas puppies that will be abandoned when they prove not to be great with kids.... J.
MrSnappy
Local rescue can't keep up with the dogs being punted into rescue now. I think there are 3 or 4 litters on the go in PNW rescue. We are turning down dogs at a rate of about 1 per day. I had to turn down a 10 year old last night, broke my heart. We're completely out of room. It's so sad. RDM
TheStacks
We're completely out of room. It's so sad. RDM You could free up some space if you would put Cooper on a plane to Florida
MrSnappy
You want him? No one else does! He's yours! Sold! RDM
TheStacks
You want him? No one else does! He's yours! Sold! RDM I don't get it???? Does he have any issues? The picture on your rescue website is killer and I fell in love immediately. Maybe RDF should just keep him
MaryP
Maybe it's the smooth coat that people aren't keen on, especially if they didn't realize that bc's can have smooth coats. He's freakin' adorable, though, and sounds like he'll be quite a catch for someone.
PSmitty
I don't get it either. I have been tempted by Cooper since the beginning! Smooth coats rule! Don't people know that?
MrSnappy
There's nothing wrong with him, except adoptions are real slow and no one is interested in Cooper, or any of the other dogs, at the moment. Everyone wants a puppy, of course. RDF doesn't want to keep Cooper. He likes adult dogs. RDM
MrSnappy
Oh okay, I will take this back. We got an excellent sounding application for Cooper. If all goes well, he'll be living on a 65 acre horse farm with some very wonderful people. Fingers crossed! RDM
