stuffy nose and sneezing

I have been trying for over a week to get my vet to call me or at least tell a tech an answer so they can call me, but to no avail, so I am asking here. As I posted about previously, Jester has tick fever and valley fever, and is beaing given medication for both. For about 10 days (which is how long I have been calling my vet every other day about this) he has had a stuffed-up nose and been sneezing. I do not know if this means something else is going on or if it is part of the tick fever and/or valley fever; if he needs the medication increased or added-to, or what. Does anyone have any advice for me on this?

thanks much

I don't know if it's related or where you're located but my vet told me Friday when he put Woobie on antihistimines that in the past week or so the dogs in my area (VA) have gone nuts with allergies. Maybe it's a seasonal thing? Hope Jester makes a speedy recovery from his fevers, that's got to be scary. And your vet should absolutely be calling you back quicker than 10 days!!! Sheesh!!!

Call and ping them. Sometimes messages get lost in the shuffle and/or people get slammed and haven't got time to get to a phone, and by the time they do the tide of activity has moved them somewhere else so that a reminder is in order.

I don't think I can answer this question without either reading the entire chart or seeing the dog. Sorry about that. In this situation I'd probably ask to see the dog on a re-check, if it were me; not sure what your vet will want to do, of course.

I wish Jester a speedy recovery and hope he's feeling better.
