INU
Sometimes I wonder why some of you chose the username/display name. Some are obvious but some aren't. So why did you pick the displayname? Any special meaning? Here are some I am curious to know: Black watch debatable Kitch BigD prosperia shoofly blackacre bustopherjones fooshuman muggs raisingriver deltabluz tess ... BTW, INU means Dog in my native language.

juliepoudrier
I think I can shed light on two of them for you, and their owners can correct me if I'm wrong. Shoofly is the name of Robin's farm. Deltabluez Tess is the name of Diane's dog Tess, the one that was registered on merit with ABCA. On all other boards I go by MissTwist, which is pretty obvious. Carson Crazies
Anyone who has met me or my dogs probably has an idea where the Crazies part comes from...
Lunar
Lunar is short for Lunar Magic, which has been my screen name online for, ummm, nearly 10 years now. I just liked it at the time (highschool) and now it's basically my second name.
Black Watch Debatable
Her life was full of incident but not of accomplishment. Persons who knew her only slightly regarded her as an opinionated little bitch, and said so; but she had a small circle of friends who saw through her, cost what it did. Obituary, by E. B. White. muggs
I'm glad you started this thread - I always wondered about INU and Black Watch Debatable. Muggs is one of my (more obscure) nicknames given by a cousin. I go by Margaret primarily, but everyone seems to think it's too formal and so decide to call me something else. My cousin's daughter recently said - "muggs...what a beautiful name..." Maybe I'll have a farm named Muggs' Hills one day.
2 Devils
2 Devils was originated when I had just 2 dogs which are/were devils. On some other boards I go by foschar (Fos-ter - my acd, Char-lotte - my soulmate who we lost to cancer when she was 4).
Jonun
J - First Initial First Name O - First Initial Middle Name NUN - First 3 Letters Last Name Sorry, it's not exciting. When the internet first became popular, back in the middle 90s, I was looking for an 'internet alias' and chose that one. I use it all over the place and as far as I know, I'm the only one. I also go by "Jason ON" on some message boards: Jason - First Name O - First Initial Middle Name N - First Initial Last Name Plus it works as a short form of 'Jason ONline'
urge to herd
urge to herd is sooooo obvious. But, I like the way it resonates when you say it out loud. Ruth n the BC3
Anda
Anda: That's my name, actualy Fortunatly, it's not a very common name, not even in Romania, where I'm originally from
RaisingRiver
I was surprised to see my username on the list. My BC pup is River and as I got her at 8 wks old, I am 'raising' her. She's my first full on puppy and my first BC. It's a honor to Raise River. It's also a bit of a play on the movie 'Raising Arizona'
fooshuman
Ok i'll explain, but only because i like you Inu When i first came to these boards, *back in 01* i got involved in a debate over working dogs vs. companion dogs. I was told if i wanted a Foo Foo dog, i should have picked another breed. I was told how i was doing a disservice to my canine friend by not working her. From that day forward Frisbee *my 1st BC* was known as Foo-dog. (which in turn got me interested in Fu-dogs) http://www.evelyngiftshop.com/fu_dog.htm And I know alot of folks thought my name was Foo Shu Man. And for some odd reason it tickles the pink out of me! PSmitty
Luisa-very cool. I always wondered, too. Mine is stupid. Years ago when I joined my first message board (dog related, of course), I asked my DH for ideas and he came up with it. I wanted Smitty, but didn't know what to put with it, so he came up with PSmitty, kinda like P Diddy, the rapper dude, or whatever he is. He's got a new name now, but I stuck with mine, for some reason. Neat idea for a thread, BTW.
PSmitty
Oh, and you'll always be Foo Shu Man, to me!
MrSnappy
MrSnappy is from my yahoo email which is mrsnappyone, and that is for Red Dog who "snaps" on command (a silent bark). Mr. Snappy is one of his many nicknames ... as is "Red Dog." On many other boards (and how I sign off on this one) I go by "RDM" which stands for Red Dogs' Mum (pre Piper of course). But apparently it can also stand for Really Damn Mean, which amuses me to no end RDM
Kat's Dogs
Again, more obvious. Kat's Dogs: Nickname for Katherine, and well, I have dogs. fooshuman, I have never even thought of it as Foo Shu Man before now! I always just thought, Foo's Human. Now it cracks me up and I can't stop seeing Foo Shu Man! Thanks alot!
lance
Lance is Ecnal backwords. Which is Latin for Handsome wise man who walks with dogs. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Just kidding.
