Lenajo
No I wouldn't add apples to the mix. Becca for severe stomach ulceration you could force down carafate slurried with water between pill doses. I've also had people tell me they do far better on the doxy caplets than the capsules. Metoclopramide speeds gastric emptying, which can make diarrhea worse. It also has a huge list of neuro side effects - we rarely use it as first line human medicine anymore. Too many issues. Vickkers
I'm so sorry to hear about Ben, Becca! I can sympathize on the nausea though... I was recently on Oxycodone b/c I tore a tendon in my leg/foot (ouch!) and it made me SOOO nauseaus I couldn't do anything except lay down and moan... forget eating, no matter how yummy the food offered was. The doc prescribed an anti nausea medication and that helped sooo much. You might want to ask your vet about something similar for Ben. Good luck and my thoughts are with you! stockdogranch
Hey, Becca. Just checked in again, and I'm still sending all the good thoughts and prayers your way that I can muster. Julie sent you all the best info from Gil. Nothing more to add, Anna
WyoBC
I'm sorry he's still not feeling great. I know how hard it is to see them not feeling good, or upset and not eating. It's really stressful. Hang in there, he'll start to feel better soon.
