Guest Bart
If you only had one BC would allow the dog the freedom to be out as long as he could not see the sheep? Am I correct in that the crating has to do with the dog being unsupervised, therefore if I had him with me when we were not working sheep it would ok? I have been kenneling my dogs for barely a week and you were right it has affected all aspects of their training especially the herding. Guest Amanda
If I only had the one Border collie I would still kennel him up for part of the day, so that he could be meditative. The unsupervised problem is only part of it. I am pleased you are kenneling your dogs and I am doubly pleased that it has brought good results. It will every time.
