Results from 4th Annual Hotchkiss Sheep Camp Stock Dog Trial

The 4th Annual Hotchkiss SheepCamp Stock Dog Trial was held on May 11-13th in Hotchkiss, Colorado. Open and PN judge was Keith Fassbender of Durango, CO, Novice and Nursery judge was Kevin Bailey of Belle Plaine, MN and Nursery judge for Sunday was John Wentz of Portage WI.

 

The sheep were yearling range ewes that had not been worked by dogs before.

 

We couldn’t have asked for more gorgeous weather for the weekend or for better, more challenging sheep to test both dogs and handlers alike.
