Barb Scott Posted May 21, 2007 Report Share Posted May 21, 2007 We had Kye put down last weekend when her seizures and the meds to prevent them finally left her with no quality of life. Two years ago, she was having a blast competing (and placing) in agility events. Last week, she could not walk across the room without stumbling two or three times. She lost control of her bodily functions and there was no life left in her eyes and we knew it was time to let her go. The sad thing is that we still have no clue what caused her seizures. In the hopes of helping prevent this disease in the future, we did participate in the BC genetic study being done in CA, early this spring.
