dobro_21
well I been looking and looking and so far the only person i could find that trains dogs around here is 2 hours away. The thing is, he said he has to keep the dog for about 3 months, 2 motnhs to train the dog anbd then about 1 month to train me to train what he has done. i been trying to find classes but notihng so far but im not going to stop looking. Zippers Food Aggression has improved great so far, i can now stick my hand in his bowl while he eats and noitnhg. I need to get something going in my town, so I was thinking in starting a BC group, thing, get together with our dogs and do something, havnt figured out yet what everytihng we could do but i think it would be cool. WyoBC
I wouldn't think that a trainer would have to keep your dog to train him, then keep you to train you too. But maybe some do. All of them that I know train once a week or so, with you and your dog. That's great that's he's so much better with his food. Keep it up. Is there any other BC's in your area? If there is they might know of someone who trains BC's, or maybe even help you train him too.
Root Beer
I wouldn't send my dog out for training. I take it you're looking for basic manners/obedience training for your dog. Have you looked into videos?
