DakotaSpirit
Well, I have finally made the decision to switch Spirit away from Canidae. He just doesn't seem to like it all that much. I was at Petco today and a lady had a booth set up for the Natural Balance food/treats. I didn't think much of it but ventured over there anyway because I love researching different brands and their ingredients just for the heck of it. She ended up giving me tons of samples and brochures before I managed to talk my way away from her booth. I still didn't think much of it until I got home. I really didn't want the samples, but knowing me, I HAD to look at the ingredients anyways. Hmm, they look pretty good! So, I browsed over it on the Internet. Sounds like a decent brand. Then I fed Spirit the little sample bag. He liked it! So, I went back to the store and bought a bag of the Ultra Premium food. I mixed it in with his Canidae for a gradual changeover. Well, that failed miserably. All the Canidae is now scattered all over my floor and he devoured all the Natural Balance. SO, I was wondering if anybody has any experience with this dog food as I would love opinions on it.
ShoresDog
We feed Daisy the Natural Balance Duck & Potato Formula. She likes it, the ingredient list is good, and she's healthy and at a good weight for her size. I like that it doesn't contain corn or wheat, so it isn't likely to provoke allergies. I give it a thumbs up.
Meg's mum
We use Natural Balance Chubs and canned. We're pretty happy with it.
sea4th
I really like Natural Balance. My dogs do very well on it. I bought a bag for a friend not too long ago, whose border collie looked like he wasn't doing well on what she was feeding him. She said she could see the improvement in his coat within a couple of weeks. So, NB gets a thumbs up from us.

PSmitty
I've fed Natural Balance to my dogs, off and on. Never had any problems with it, and they liked it. Â My cats wouldn't touch the stuff, though!
hoku's mum
We switched Hoku over to NB Fish and Sweet Potato as he had eye slime on the Nutro we were feeding (plus he did not like it). Ho LOVES the NB, his coat is beautiful, eye slime is gone. I'm sold, just wish it was a bit less expensive....
Rebecca, Irena Farm
Ben's on this Potato and Duck and has been for about a year now. He's very sensitive to various things and this food has never let us down. We raise the protein/fat by adding various raw meats - used to be cans of stuff but not lately!! ZoZo
Zoey loves the Natural Balance organic chicken & rice flavor kibble and she has a nicer looking coat these days too. Eye goo that she seemed to have all the time went away after a few weeks of starting this and I was really happy about that.
rossie
Buzz's meals are Kirkland kibble, but I use chopped up pieces of NB food roll when I need treats for training and Buzz loves it! He'll do almost anything for some NB. I have to be careful about what foods I give Buzz since he has a sensitive tummy, and NB has never given him any trouble.
