  1. That's what I was thinking. But in the end - I'm just glad she is home!!
  2. YAY! I got goosebumps when I read she was home! I love the picture too. Happy, happy reunion!
  3. I can't wait to go home tonight and try to teach Rox some new tricks!!! There are some really clever ones I never would've thought of on here! Thanks you guys.
  4. I loved meeting you and Ouzo this weekend! Let's do it again. He is such a great dog!

  5. So I was just reading 'The Paw' and saw a tip on how to teach your dog to cover it's eyes by putting a sticky note on his nose and when they paw it off-give a treat, click, good boy, etc. And soon they will have the trick down. I thought it was a really neat idea and was wondering if anyone else had a creative way to teach any other tricks to their pups? Anybody?
  6. I'm up for Cherry Creek! We'll be there with bells on. Roxy needs a little alone time away from our foster dog! She's a sensitive one and doesn't like that she doesn't get all the attention anymore. I can't wait to meet you guys and see Ouzo in person....he's so handsome!!
  7. WyoBC - Well, well, well, CSI is in the house! I let the WBCR group know about this festival too-and was wondering if your BlackJack was the same BlackJack as the one in the pictures of the yahoo group! Now I know!
  8. The one in Loveland, I think it's the 5-7th. I want to get Roxy into flyball-I think she would looove it and I think she could be really good!
  9. Cool! I might be heading up that way for a flyball tourny semi-close to Ft. Collins. I'll try to stop by and see the pups, how fun!
  10. NOW you post this....my dog and our foster both got sprayed about 2 weeks ago and we had no remedy on hand and it was 1 am....no internet access to be had and 2 smelly dogs. The skunk was still in our backyard and so we had to let them in the house for the night. We tried puppy shampoo but it didn't really help. That has to be one of the worst nights I've had in a while... And then every time they even so much as get a drop of water on them-back to smelly! PeeeeUuuuuuu!!!
  11. Wow, he's doing GREAT! And I love his face, he really seems to want to learn! What a cutie.
  12. Let us know how the meeting goes! She is such a cutie-pie!
  13. Oh, I love dogs! Roxy will snuggle up to me AS close as possible and let me love on her. And if I am sick, she stays in bed with me and won't get up unless I do. It's really sweet, and it makes me feel better, like I should be taking her out for a walk or something (since I am already home and all) and because she's been so good to me.
  14. What a crazy house to come back to! I hope Ouzo is feeling better by now! His poor swollen face. But I do like the new tricks and the pigeon, both of which sound like they are going to be LOTS of fun.
  15. Yeah, is he a puppy, Kelly? How old do you think he is?
  16. Wow, what great progress!! Yay HrrGrr! And what do you mean he is going to be a heartbreaker, he already seems to be!
  17. Good luck! Let us know how it goes. I hope your little helper proves to be a big help!
  18. It sounds like he just needs time. He is just adorable, btw. When he is ready to go out into the world and play with a friendly pup, we shoud do a doggy play date. I live near Denver and my pup loves a good trip to the dog park!
  19. Thanks, I've actually been to 2 playdates so far, but there were so many people at the last one, I didn't want to take up too much of anyone's time. Maybe I will try the dvd and go to the next one to see if I'm doing it right! I wish I hadn't missed the spring clinic, but we just started getting into the frisbee thing in June... I think that would've been really helpful!
  20. Does anyone know if there is anyone in CO who could help to train me on frisbee techniques? Roxy is doing pretty good at the whole catch-a-frisbee-if-it's-thrown-straight thing, but I want to start her on the more freestylish tricks, but I've never done this before and don't know where to start... Should I just go online and watch video's of other people doing freestyle and try to imitate it? Help!
